Supported Employment Program

Our Supported Employment Program (SEP) provides individuals with an intellectual disability and/or autism spectrum disorder job opportunities within both public and private sectors.  We first evaluate the individual’s vocational interests and strengths, and match the client with an appropriate supported employment position within the company. We then provide ongoing support within the company setting, such as individualized on-site coaching, to facilitate integration and promote inclusion.  Remuneration is contingent on a person’s productivity and is negotiated with the companies. Program participants will either receive competitive employment positions, or stage positions.

When a company agrees to take on our clients as employees, we work closely with that company’s human resource department to provide on-going sensitization training to facilitate an understanding of our clientele.
