Miriam Home and Services is dedicated to providing the highest quality of educational, residential, vocational and community services to persons with intellectual disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorders, so that they can reach their potential. Our organization strives for the highest standards of excellence in clinical practice, research and education.
Volunteers are a vital part of our organization and work directly with our clientele, in either one of our programs or in a more informal setting. Volunteering at Miriam Home will involve creating at least one new and engaging relationship which could have a profound effect on that person’s life, and yours.

“Volunteering was the highlight of my McGill experience. The first time I met Michael and Harry, it felt like I was visiting two dear friends. The kindness and warmth they showed me kept me grounded when university felt all too crazy. Weekly games of Trouble and arts and crafts became my comfort. I will forever be grateful for the friendship we share and I feel so lucky to consider them part of my Montreal family. Going to visit Michael and Harry became not just a part of my routine but the favourite part of my week”
