1. Autism Spectrum Disorders
Since 2003, The Regional Board of Health and Social Services has extended the mandate of all CRDI’s, which must provide adaptation and rehabilitation services for persons with autism spectrum disorder, with or without intellectual disabilities.
2. Bilingual Services
The organization is bilingual and received a special mandate from the MSSS to meet the demands of other CRDI’s whose users have needs for services in English. A service contract is then signed with the requesting CRDI and rehabilitation services are provided in English.
3. Jewish cultural mandate
Miriam Home has a special cultural mandate to service any Jewish individual with an intellectual disability or autism spectrum disorder regardless of his or her territory.
